Colin Dale:

To call Colin Dale “legendary” is no over-estimation…….here is a Dj that has been one of London’s most cutting edge Djs for over 20 years and still continues to surprise and marvel. Music was always a big part of the Dale family’s life……Soul, Reggae, Jazz and Funk…..even before Colin left school friends included Fabio, Grooverider, Dave Angel, Jumping Jack Frost and Bryan Gee……..all who went on to be top Djs in their respective scenes. It all began in 1982 when Colin who was then working as a banker in the city of London began to warm up for Hip Hop supremo “Tim Westwood” at the cult Gossips nightclub in Soho playing cuts like Soul Sonic Force, Strafe, Shannon and Donna Summer. In 1985 Colin was one of the key members of the pirate radio station Kiss FM and soon after left banking to pursue a career in music and the “Abstrakt Dance” radio show was born. For 16 years “Abstrakt Dance” was a ground-breaking show which quite simply bought Techno to the masses. Guests on the show included All the UR crew, Hawtin, Angel,  Pullen, Garnier,  Saunderson, Craig, May, Cox……the list goes on and .. the show was put on the internet in 1993 Colin became a household name in Techno circles Worldwide. It was the first ever Techno show to be transmitted live with visuals and it was revolutionary.

Silverlining:

After two decades of DJing, running labels, and producing hundreds of releases, the chap behind this project certainly is no fledgling. His eclectic, party-savvy sets have been tickling feet & minds alike since the mid-90s.

Spaceheadz:

Spaceheadz are dynamic DJ and production duo Dave Miller & Joel Brittain.

Dave started DJ’ing in the 80’s, playing house and techno at Free Parties and Ramshakle Rave’s where he earned the dubious nickname of Dave The Rave. By the 90’s he’d bagged himself a few decent residencies in the Midlands, getting himself on the same bill as the likes of Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Bones, Carl Cox, Parks & Wilson & Tony D’Vit on a regular basis at venues such as The Junction, The Planet (formally The Eclipse), The Dance Factory and The Que Club. By the 00’s, Dave had relocated back to London, serving his time behind the counter at the now legendary SWAG Records in Croydon and DJ’ing in London & Ibiza at venue’s such as Turnmills, The Eve Club, The Revolution Vodka Bar, The Savannah Beach Club, Es Vive, Bar Zuka, Kerfuffle at Jamm and The Hidden Garden at The White Lion.

American born Joel Brittain started DJ’ing in 1993, cutting his teeth in the up and coming Florida house, techno, D&B and ambient hip hop scenes before moving to London in the 00’s to form Nonsuch Recordings with Dan Thomason. Since his arrival this side of the pond Joel has enjoyed a prolific recording career with remixes and productions on labels such as Reveberations, Wrong, Tango, Elevation Recordings & Caboose Records along side artists such as Rob Pearson, Demarkus Lewis and Asad Rizvi to name but a few, as well as enjoying numerous DJ gigs across the EU.
