|Works with||Building & Operations Manager; Bar Manager, Monthly Payroll Officer|
|Purpose of role||To provide regular, accurate and timely financial administration for Stanley Halls as part of a small and dedicated team.|
|Hours||18 hours per week – PT Salaried
(Ideally these will be made up of 5 half days Monday – Friday though there is some flexibility available)
|Wage||£10.75 ph (LLW plus standard holiday pay etc.)|
|Start Date||1st March 2020|
|Managing & developing effective bookkeeping and reconciliation systems.
Managing invoicing of events & external hirers with building & operations manager.
Daily online reconciliation of the bank account.
Daily payment of bills & recording online.
Weekly reconciliation of bar and cafe income.
Weekly reconciliation of box office income.
Overseeing stock check with bar manager.
Float & change runs.
End of month, quarter & year end reporting with Venue Director & Treasurer.
Supporting payroll and work of Monthly Payroll Officer.
Other duties which reasonably relate to the above duties which may arise from time to time.
Skills, Expertise and Experience Required:
Experience of financial administration for a small to medium sized organisation.
Experience of modern online accounting software.
Experience of working as part of a team.
High level of financial & numerical literacy.
High level of diligence and attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills.
Experience of working with Xero accounts package.
Experience of working with iZettle accounts.
Experience of working with Google Sheets & Google Drive systems.
Experience of working with third party ticketing websites.
Experience of financial administration in a charity / arts organisation.
Knowledge of deferral based accounting methods.
